Stocks in the U.S advanced to record highs as hurricane Irma threat recedes

U.S. equities advanced to a record, the greenback was firm and Treasuries tumbled as investors rushed to riskier assets after Hurricane Irma caused less damage than forecast and #NorthKorea failed to exacerbate tensions. 
MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan rose 0.2 percent to its highest level since late 2007 and Japan's #Nikkei gained 1.0 percent.
